Stand Back, New York Times Best-Selling Author Coming Through
When I was younger I had two possible career goals: an archaeologist who wrote stories of adventure and fantasy within ruins, and a New York Times Best-Selling author. The first one isn’t quite likely, given that I’d pretty much have only the option of teaching or trying to get grants for digs while I teach. I must tell you something now, teaching would be the bane of my existence. Sure, panels would be super-duper fun once I’m a published author but teaching? Not so fond of that idea.
The latter, however, I can totes do. After seeing Sasha, a BookTuber and fellow bookworm become a New York Times Best-Selling author made me realize that I may be able to do this. J K Rowling, the genius behind the Harry Potter series that changed my life (and the book that outsold the bible), said that you can’t be a writer without being a reader. Well, I’m certainly a reader and I’ve realized that in order to become a New York Times Best-Selling author I need to actually write something.
I’m not sure where to post my stories, on here or to write a new blog, but it’s going to happen. I’m so going to be a New York Times best-selling author so that I can get a cabin in the woods and write and read all the time. I want to live off of writing. Right now I’m thinking I’ll post my stories to Wattpad but what I need from you all is what you’d like to read. Is it YA Horror/fantasy/scifi that would float your boat or is there something else you’d like to read? Come at me, bro, and chuck ideas at my head.
I’m going to be a best-selling author soon. Look out literary world, here I come!
